![]() If you want to play a Premium Module the best is probably Darkness over Daggerford. It takes care of all the dependencies and whatnot. Use this tool to install third party modules. If you want to upgrade the graphics a bit you can use this mod: and note the 'low quality PLT' option which sacrifices almost no performance and still looks a lot better. Cleric/Paladin is a good compromise where it's got some spells but you are strong enough to melee that you don't need to master everything. If you don't know D&D 3.0 at all you might want to avoid spellcasting primary classes. (Make sure to take Pixie familiar for picking locks.) If you just auto level Fighter you'll actually be pretty damn strong, fine if you don't mind brute forcing your way through combat. Wizard is really fun but a bit tough at early levels. Cleric or Paladin is pretty hard to screw up and has good all around abilities. If you aren't bored go ahead and keep playing. At that point, if you are bored you can skip to the first official expansion. ![]() Play the original campaign (The Wailing Death) at least as far as the tutorial. ![]()
